The Hill 1 by America's Home Place Mount Juliet Tennessee

Hi!

We are building our second home in Franklin, TN and using the custom home builder out of Mt. Juliet, TN called America's Home Place.

This blog is intended to inform other prospective buyers who are interested in building with America's Home Place what our experience is with them.  

We'd like to take you on the adventure of our entire house build from beginning to end. 

Please be patient as I upload the photos. 

At this point, we are working with Bobby as the General Manger of the AHP store in Mt. Juliet (Nashville office) and our current project manager is a guy named Travis. 

We started out with a wonderful guy named Tom as our project manager but he is now on leave.  So that was probably snafu #1.  

In the coming posts, I'll walk you step by step as to what we did in regards to negotiating contracts and how long it has taken for us to get to where we are. 

In the photo below, you will see our home is the America's Home Place The Hill 1 with no garage or room added on the first floor.  It currently has the roof mostly shingled (waiting for the chimney bricks) and we are meeting tomorrow to go over some foundation and framing concerns. (More about that later).

We hope this blog helps you!  We have built with Ryan Homes prior so we have a good basis on what to expect with bulk builders like this.  I'll write about the difference between Ryan Homes and this custom home by America's Home Place - Nashville in a future post.
